Iranian Qari in Ivory Coast for Quran Recitation
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A prominent Iranian Qari has travelled to Ivory Coast for recitation of the Quran in the West African country.
The recitations of Mehdi Karami, a prominent Qari from the western province of Zanjan, have been received warmly by the Muslims in the country.
He has so far recited the Quran in the Lebanese Shia mosque of Abidjan, Friday prayers in the Gulf Mosque, and Imam Khomeini (RA) religious center in the city.
According to the Committee for Dispatching Quran Reciters, Karami was also the reciter at the International Quds Day rally in another city.
He traveled to Ivory Coast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
